General conditions for caravan rental 

Basic conditions

  • Only a Group B licence is required to tow a motorhome. If the total weight of the whole combination exceeds 3,500 kg, see the Department for Transport’s explanation on this subject. 
  • To rent a caravan, you need 2 valid identity documents (ID card, driving licence, passport).
  • The minimum age to drive the vehicle is 21 years.
  • Collision insurance is taken out with a 10% excess (minimum € 400).
  • Minimum rental period is 3 paid days, in high season minimum 7 paid days.
  • It is forbidden to carry out any modifications (gluing, screwing, drilling, etc.).
  • It is forbidden to smoke, use candles, carry fuel in containers, sparklers, etc.
  • It is forbidden to carry bicycles, skis and other objects that could damage the interior furnishings (furniture and walls or floors) in the caravan (except in designated areas).
  • In case of irreparable damage to the interior or exterior, we will charge the full amount (repair or purchase of a new item).
  • It is forbidden to use regular toilet paper in the chemical toilet, please use toilet paper designed for the eco-toilet.
  • It is forbidden to use chemical-free toilet.
  • The renter is fully responsible for the persons and cargo being transported.
  • Transportation of pets is prohibited only by prior arrangement.
  • In the event of early termination of the rental, the rent will not be refunded.

  • If the lessee fails to comply with the agreed time of return of the caravan without prior telephone agreement with the lessor, the lessee is obliged to pay a fine of 100,- € in addition to the amount corresponding to the daily rent, if the agreed time is exceeded by 24 hours, the lessee is obliged to pay a fine of 100,- € for each 24 hours of delay.

Payment terms

  • Caravan reservation for a given date (via web, e-mail, phone) is valid only for 5 days. The reservation deposit must be paid within this period and serves as a block of the date. 
  • If the deposit is not paid within this period, the motorhome will be offered as free.
  • A refundable deposit of €500 is payable on collection of the caravan and €1000 in cash on collection of the motorhome to cover any damages not covered by breakdown insurance etc.

Booking deposits

  • 50% of the rental price serves as a block term, the remaining 50% must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the rental. After payment of the full rent, a tax document – invoice will be issued, on which the full rent minus the security deposit will be invoiced.

Handover and return

  • RVs are dropped off by appointment – please see Contacts for drop-off location.
  • The RV must be turned in in reasonable condition, tidy, clean, emptied and the chemical toilet cassette must be flushed.
  • The caravan can be delivered to the desired location by arrangement – for a pre-agreed fee.
  • When returning an uncleaned motorhome (toilet, bathroom, kitchen, etc.) we charge 100,- € for each violation (the toilet cassette must be emptied and flushed), if it is soiled with oil, paint, etc., we charge 200,- €.
  • Approximately 60 minutes of time is required to hand over and collect the motorhome and familiarise yourself with its operation and equipment – please allow for this, as well as approximately 60 minutes of time to collect and inspect the motorhome when it is returned. 
  • If you have caused major or minor damage, wear and tear to parts or components during the journey, please report this when you return the motorhome. If the damage is of such a magnitude as to make further rental impossible, it must be reported prior to return (by phone, email, SMS).

V prípade poruchy

  • Všetky naše obytné automobily sú pravidelne servisované a kontrolované, ale niektoré spotrebiče alebo iné súčasti môžu mať poruchy.
  • Všetky opravy a nákup náhradných dielov sa môžu vykonávať len so súhlasom prenajímateľa.
  • Nezabudnite si vždy nechať vystaviť riadny daňový doklad, ktorý vám bude vrátený pri vrátení vozidla.

V prípade nehody/poškodenia

  • V prípade nehody/poškodenia obytného vozidla (dopravná nehoda, živelná pohroma, vandalizmus atď.) alebo poškodenia iných vecí v obytnom vozidle musíte vždy najprv zavolať prenajímateľa a potom políciu a dať vyhotoviť záznam o nehode pre poisťovňu.
  • Urobte si fotodokumentáciu nehody. Jedna rada: čím viac fotografií, tým lepšie. Nehodu vždy odfotografujte zo všetkých strán, z diaľky aj zblízka.

Storno poplatky

  • Rezervačná záloha je v plnej výške vratná za administratívny poplatok 50,- €, ak sa rezervácia zruší 8 týždňov pred začiatkom termínu. Po uplynutí tejto lehoty je záloha nevratná.

Zrušenie rezervácie

  • V prípade poškodenia obytného vozidla do takej miery, že to znemožňuje jeho prenájom, môže požičovňa rezerváciu zrušiť. Zaplatená záloha sa vráti v plnej výške. 

Súhlas so spracovaním osobných údajov

  • V súlade s ustanoveniami zákona č. 101/2000 Z. z. o ochrane osobných údajov v znení neskorších predpisov súhlasím so spracovaním (tým sa rozumie najmä zhromažďovanie, ukladanie, používanie a uchovávanie) mojich osobných a citlivých údajov.

Vyššia moc

V prípade vyššej moci (prírodné katastrofy, choroby – pandémie a pod.) spoločnosť JPK Slovakia s.r.o. vydá. VOUCHER s ročnou splatnosťou ako kompenzácia za zmeškaný dátum dovolenky.
